The beginning of Al-Sakhyaa Medical Hospital story
The Al-Sakhyaa Medical Group was established in 2009 in Amman – Jabal Amman, taking upon itself the development of home healthcare services, as it began as a nucleus specialized in providing integrated medical care to the patient within their home.
Since the beginning, the group has been keen to provide an integrated system that includes home healthcare, in addition to Al-Sakhyaa Pharmacy, and Al-Sakhyaa excellence for medical devices and supplies, with the aim of meeting all patients’ needs for medicines and medical supplies with high efficiency.
Driven by our belief in the importance of developing medical personnel, Al-Sakhyaa Academy for Development and Training was established to be a scientific center that contributes to raising the efficiency of workers in the health sector and enhances the level of professional performance within the group.

Al-Sakhyaa Medical Hospital
Al-Sakhyaa Medical Hospital is considered one of the most prominent hospitals in Northern Jordan – Irbid, specializing in the fields of general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology. It is a fundamental part of the Al-Sakhyaa Medical Group, which seeks to provide the highest levels of healthcare according to international quality standards.
We serve a wide segment of the residents of Irbid, Ramtha District, and the surrounding areas. The hospital is also distinguished by its vital location within the Al-Hassan Industrial Estate, which makes it a major supporter of the investment sector by providing healthcare to factory managers and employees, and contributing to creating a safe and stable work environment.
We are also keen to build effective partnerships and collaborations with major hospitals in Amman, with the aim of exchanging expertise and achieving the highest levels of medical integration, which benefits patients and raises the quality of services provided.
Leadership in developing healthcare services
Dr. Basil Alian
Dr. Basil Alian, a retired Colonel from the Medical Services, is a pioneer in the Jordanian healthcare sector, combining field and administrative experience to establish an integrated model for healthcare.
He holds a PhD in Business Administration with a specialty in Quality Management, which is reflected directly in his vision for providing medical services focused on the highest standards of quality and excellence.
In 2009, he founded the Sakhā Medical Group in Amman, which has become today one of the prominent entities in providing integrated medical and nursing services, with a clear focus on developing the level of healthcare and enhancing the patient experience.
Dr. Basil Alian led the group’s journey towards expansion and integration to include home healthcare, medical training, and hospitals, placing quality and humanity at the heart of every service provided.
